Reveal the True Character of a Room with ANN SACKS® Newest Metallics

Reveal, ANN SACKS’ latest metallic collection, is a tile of exceptional depth of color and dimensional luster that employs the stained glass industry technique of through-color-glass.  The color is achieved using various oxides, of which there are virtually hundreds from which to choose depending upon the desired hue required.  Unlike many mirrored tiles, which can appear cold and flat, Reveal has an undulating surface of ripples, folds and random inclusions and markings. 

The transformation occurs as oxides are fused together at 1800 degrees Fahrenheit.  The glass is then poured and stretched to create a sheet before going through the tempering process, giving the tile face textural, organic beauty.  The glass is then coated with a metallic paint securely affixed with heat to the back of the sheet.  Once finished, the tile is hand-cut, with sides softly sanded.

Reveal is an ecologically sound choice, crafted from 72 percent post-consumer recycled glass.  Due to its naturally resilient composition and the sealing that takes place after color is applied then fired at high temperatures, Reveal is an impressive candidate for indoor applications, including most wet areas, such as showers, backsplashes, and other vertical surfaces.  Reveal is offered in three brilliant colors: Diamond, Bronze (shown); and Onyx, and in 6”x24” and 12”x24” size fields.
