ANN SACKS will also feature kitchen and bathroom designs by its sister company, KALLISTA®, a high-end luxury plumbing manufacturer. KALLISTA is known for its decorative plumbing products, offering faucets and fixtures thoughtfully created for tasteful, whole-bath solutions. Rounding out the store’s offerings will be products from Robern, another brand under the Kohler Interiors and Decorative Products umbrella, and serves as its entrée into the Austin marketplace. Headquartered in Bristol, Penn. since the company’s founding in 1968, Robern has long been recognized as a leader in residential storage solutions, creating cabinets, vanities, mirrors, lighting, and accessories for every living space. Robern pioneered development of the personal vanity environment by providing stylish designs, attractive finish options, and innovative features.
ANN SACKS’ Austin also marks the unveiling of Gen 3, ANN SACKS’ latest iteration of its comprehensive retail space design. Expanding upon ANN SACKS Gen 2 customer-focused sales approach concept unveiled in 2014, it has again raised the bar to elicit from clientele the ultimate shopping experience. Keeping the crisp contemporary feel and studio intimacy of the showroom, some of the latest additions include an entrance reception area for immediate interaction and an X- rack feature expanding ANN SACKS merchandising capabilities.
ANN SACKS’ planning and detail is apparent from every angle of the showroom. Architectural details include soaring 19 foot ceilings and a floating soffit that runs the length of the sales floor and serves as the anchor to the space. A cutting-edge media wall hosts a 65-inch single digital screen with rotating installation images and videos to allow sales associates immediate accessibility through their iPads for real-time responsiveness when working on projects. Clients will also be able to access the ANN SACKS web site, as well as other sites, including a designer’s own web site to enhance and define options and possibilities from a personal perspective.
Utilizing every inch of its 3,100 sq. ft. space, ANN SACKS Austin presents a virtual walking tour of potential design installations. Offering inspiration with every step, seven suites and vignettes, including a Master Kitchen, a Master Bath and an outdoor Fireplace suite will present the latest and most popular ANN SACKS, KALLISTA plumbing and Robern products. Through its guest designer series, ANN SACKS designs by Michael S Smith, Robert Kuo, Clodogh, Laura Kirar, Kelly Wearstler and the MADE by ANN SACKS series of 14 different collections, handcrafted in its Portland, Ore. facility will be featured. A suite has been dedicated to showcase some of Robern’s most remarkable products – its new V14 30-inch wall-hung vanity, the M Series cabinet and the M Series full length cabinet. A KALLISTA plumbing wall allows customers to compare myriad options easily in one dedicated place.
The store boasts eight floor pads, including three new ANN SACKS designs – Sarto Porcelain, Petracer’s Decorative Metallic on Black Matte and Stampino Porcelain tiles. Chroma Control Lighting, which simulates various lighting to mimic real indoor or outdoor lighting, is centered above the design specification table and media wall while large front windows bring in an abundance of natural light to present the pure color and beauty of the tile and stone as it would be seen in their home. A combination of state-of-the-art, 90-percent low-energy LED track, recessed and linear down lighting for ambient light continue its modern aesthetic. On-wall racking allows 532 different tile products to be displayed. The sample store is adjacent to the racking for easy accessibility, while ample sized desks allow associates to work with customers’ side-by-side for immediate access to sales tools, computer data bases, and web site information.
The foundation of the ANN SACKS retail strategy is its responsiveness to its clientele. With an experienced staff and hours to accommodate the hectic pace of today’s consumer, ANN SACKS Austin will also feature basic color and floor planning assistance, or for more sophisticated needs, will assist you by presenting a variety of ways to bring design ideas to life.
