ANN SACKS® Introduces New Geode Collection by Designer Andy Fleishman

ANN SACKS continues its fruitful partnership with designer Andy Fleishman with the new Geode Collection, a series of imaginative molded concrete designs that are composed using the designer’s trademark environmentally conscious manner.

Inspired by a natural geode’s duality of sparkling crystal within a seemingly ordinary rock, this collection marries smooth surfaces with rough ones, and strict linearity with flowing curves.  The product is matte concrete made from recycled materials which has been molded and then polished in places and left raw in others to create a variety of raised designs.  The Geode Collection includes five designs: Spoke, Circles, Swirl, Gemstone, and Couplet – a divided hexagon.  These designs are available in a vivid palette of Light Gray, Camel, Chocolate, Yellow, Orange, Cream, Blue and Blue Black.

Geode’s designs are both visually intriguing and enticingly tactile.  The repeating patterns, appealing colors, and the interplay of the polished raised surfaces with the granular troughs create installations that are unusually beautiful and utterly unique.
