Hive, a lively new geometric design, has joined ANN SACKS’ Savoy line of original mosaic tiles. Inspired by the hexagonal pattern that defines a bee hive, this new design has an updated, modern feel that is fresh but understated.
The design comes in three neutral colors: Chalk; Paperwhite, a very pale blue that breaks blue at the edges; and the slightly darker Ricepaper. Hive is also available in two striking metallic colorways: Bronze and Ibushi, a metallic black finish.
The unusual shape of Hive makes for an interesting installation that is subtle but refined. It can be used in almost any setting, but would add a level of high design to showers and baths, backsplashes and fireplace walls, particularly when the shape is accentuated by colored or black grout. It can be installed both vertically and horizontally and is available in 15-1/2” x 12-5/8” netted sheets.
