ANN SACKS® Expands its Mosaic Category with Scribe

A new mosaic program, Scribe, was introduced by ANN SACKS,a premier manufacturer and distributor of tile and stone, at the 2013 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show in New Orleans. Handcrafted in the United States, Scribe expands ANN SACKS mosaics with a program unlike any other in its portfolio, offering distinctive tiles carved in relief in an extraordinary breadth of pattern and natural stone colorations.

Aptly named, Scribe incorporates a subtle visual component by etching or scribing the surface of the tiles. The tiles are then pieced together like a puzzle and netted into interlocking sheets for ease of installation. Offered in either a honed or polished finish, customers can select from a range of 20 patterns and 53 different marbles, travertine and limestone – or can be custom designed to create a one-of-a-kind work of art. Adding to its bespoke nature, the choice of grout color plays an active role in the overall effect of the presentation.

Scribe is suitable for all vertical and horizontal applications including bathroom floors, showers, pool waterlines, fireplace surrounds, and backsplashes. Outdoor usage is subject to climate and method of installation.
